Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 October 2026
This policy explains what information Skyad collects, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Skyad is operated by Digital Native Co., a company registered in Delaware, USA ("we", "us"). For any privacy question or request, email contact@digitalnative.vip.
What we collect
If you just play without signing in
- Technical data: your IP address and browser details, which every website receives. We use the IP address for a short time to limit abuse (for example, too many requests) and keep server logs for troubleshooting.
- Gameplay data: your controls during a battle, so our server can run the game.
- Settings stored on your device: your sound setting and whether you've seen the flag prompt are kept in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device.
If you sign in
- Account: your email address, and your account ID from Google or another sign-in provider if you use one. We don't receive your password for those services.
- Profile: the pilot name (callsign) you choose, and an optional country flag. The flag is suggested from your device's time zone. We don't ask for your location or look it up from your IP address, and you can change or hide the flag.
- Game records: your lives, scores, kills and leaderboard places, and the flight path of your best life, which is replayed to other players as a "ghost" plane.
If you pay
- Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store them.
- We keep your Stripe customer and subscription IDs, the amount, currency and status of each payment, and whether your subscription is active.
If you advertise
- The sponsor name, link and banner image you upload, the slot and week you booked, and the review decision.
How we use it
- To run the game: start your lives, run the battle, keep the weekly leaderboard and show your callsign and flag to other players.
- To provide what you paid for: the ad-free subscription, or your banner on a top-10 plane.
- To keep the game fair and safe: detect cheating and abuse, and enforce our Terms.
- To answer you when you contact us, and to fix bugs.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it to build advertising profiles ourselves.
Ads and cookies
Free players see an ad before each life. These ads are served by Google (Google AdSense and its games ads). Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure results and prevent fraud. Depending on your choices and where you live, the ads may be personalised based on your activity across other sites.
- How Google uses information from sites that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
- Turn personalised ads on or off: My Ad Center, or opt out of many ad companies at aboutads.info.
- In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, you're asked for consent before ad cookies are used, and you can change your choice later.
Signing in also uses a cookie or local storage to keep you signed in. Subscribers don't see ads.
The banners painted on top-10 planes are not served by Google. They are images uploaded by sponsors, delivered from our own servers, and don't track you. If you click a sponsor's link, you leave Skyad and that site's own privacy policy applies.
Who we share it with
We use these service providers, who process data for us under their own security and privacy commitments:
- Railway: hosts our servers.
- Supabase: sign-in, our database and banner image storage.
- Stripe: payments and subscriptions.
- Google: ads, and sign-in if you choose "Continue with Google".
Other players see your callsign, flag, scores and ghost flights. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety or our rights, or as part of a sale or merger of our business.
Our providers may store and process data in the United States and other countries.
How long we keep it
- Account and game records: for as long as you have an account. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise them.
- Payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Banner images: deleted automatically within about four weeks of the season they ran in, or a week after a booking that never went live. The booking record is kept as a sales record.
- Abuse-limiting counters based on IP address: no more than a day.
Your choices and rights
- You can play without an account.
- You can change your callsign's flag or hide it.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time with the Manage button next to your account.
- You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account: email contact@digitalnative.vip from the address you signed in with.
Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, the UK, California or Korea), you may have further rights, such as to object to or restrict some uses, or to complain to your local data protection authority. We'll answer any request within the time your law requires.
Children
Skyad is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), keep payment data with Stripe, limit who on our side can access data, and back up our database with encryption. No service is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll also tell signed-in players in the game.
